The Fender Kit contains two pieces of Basswood that have the wheel wells drilled out. This kit is designed to fit the wheel base of our original S&W Crafts, Mfg. Pinewood Racer. Which is 5" center to center.. Using the Fender Kit is best left to kids that have already made a Derby Car or are a bit older. Some cars, like a '57 Chevy, are made by shaping the block and fenders separately, and then gluing them together. Others may opt for a Ferrari and decide to attach the fenders first then design the profile of the car after. Either way, the design possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination.
